A clear and flawless sentence. The pollution of the soil and terrestrial waters are mainly due to the misuse of a material that has positively changed many aspects of our life, in particular that of medicine where plastic sees a massive use both in technology and in sterile tools.
The materials that are usually indicated as possible substitutes they have polluting aspects to take into account: «Glass and aluminum, for example, require much more energy for production and are heavier to transport.
