We are often faced with this need: making molded thermoplastic products more resistant.

From today, thanks to the new saturated steam conditioning machine, we exploit the AQuafix process which forces the absorption of water by the thermoplastic material in a vacuum environment. In this way, the molecular contents of water, necessary for the perfect physical-chemical balance, are restored, leading to a natural increase in the elasticity and resistance of the product, limiting the risk of breakage when subjected to stress.

With this technology, we can now guarantee the customer an additional process that makes the final product more performing. The dimensional stability and toughness of polyamide are no longer a problem for PMI and our customers!
